What I feel inside.
The feelings I have,
That just don't subside.
Saying that I care,
Isn't enough.
Not being with you,
Makes it real tough.
You know I was hoping,
For a little bit more.
But I guess that it wasn't,
What life has in store.
Showing I care,
Just didn't work.
Maybe I pushed.
Maybe a jerk.
But you caught my eye,
Caught my heart too.
